NDA(1) 2021 Notification

NDA(1) 2021 notification has been released by UPSC. A total of 400 vacancies have been announced. As per NDA(1) 2021 Notification, online application form can be filled till January 19, 2021. The application form can be withdrawn from January 27 to February 2, 2021. The written exam will be conducted on April 18, 2021, for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 147th course and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2, 2022. NDA is one of the most sought after defence entrance exams in the country.
NDA exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
NDA is conducted twice a year in two stages: written exam and SSB Interview. Around four lakh, aspirants appear for NDA every year, out of which approximately 6,000 are called for SSB Interview.
UPSC prepares a list of candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written exam. Such candidates are called for SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test.

NDA(1) 2021 Notification: Eligibility

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for the exam.

Age Limit: For NDA 1 exam, candidates must have born not earlier than July 2, 2002, and not later than July 1, 2005. For NDA 2 exam, candidates must have born not earlier than January 2, 2002, and not later than January 1, 2006.

Educational qualification: The educational qualification is different for different academies. Candidates can check the educational qualification prescribed for different academies below:

Army Wing of National Defence Academy	Passed Class 12/HSC or equivalent from a recognised board or university.
Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy	Passed Class 12/HSC with Physics and Mathematics

NDA 2021 Application Form

For NDA 2021 Registration, students are required to apply through online mode on the website.
The application process through online mode has been started from 30th December 2020 for NDA I and from 9th June 2021 for NDA II.
No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
Students should submit only one application form. In case of submission of more than one application, the higher registration id (latest) will be considered and rest of the applications will get cancelled automatically.
Candidates must have photo ID i.e. Aadhaar Card/ voter ID/ PAN card/ Passport/ Driving licence etc. at the time of filling application form.
Candidates are able to complete the online application form in two stages – Part I and Part II.
In the Part I of application process, candidates have to fill their basic and other details in the application.
In the Part II application process, students are required to upload photograph and signature, make choice of exam centre and make payment of application fee.
Correction will not be allowed in the details of application after the submission of form.

Application Fee:

The application fee payable for all category candidates is Rs.100/-.
Candidates of ST/ SC/ NCOs/ Sons of JCOs/ ORS are exempted to pay the fee.

Payment mode: The fee can be paid through debit/ credit card/ net banking or SBI bank Challan method.
